We have had a busy and interesting few weeks teaching First Aid Courses to staff from local businesses and schools in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas in Buckinghamshire.
Participants on the First Aid Courses Included staff from Buckinghamshire Business First, Charity sectors, personal trainers and sports coaches, first aid training for school staff.
Topics covered on our Emergency First Aid at Work Courses include:
– Roles and Responsibilities of a First Aider
– Communication and Casualty Care
– Primary Survey
– CPR Training including AED (Defibrillator) training
– Recovery Position
– First Aid for Seizures
– Choking recognition and treatment
– Bleeding management and Shock
– First Aid for Minor Injuries including burns and scalds
In addition to this we have also delivered several Baby and Child First Aid Courses in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas to parents, expectant and new parents including grandparents. This course covers the essentials of Baby and Child First Aid including CPR, Choking recognition and treatment, Recovery Position, Common childhood conditions i.e. febrile seizures and burns and scalds.
The delegates were very entertaining, making the first aid courses fun and enjoyable.

Our Open First Aid Course dates are available on our website. These are ideal First Aid courses for individuals or businesses who would like one or a few staff trained in First Aid. The Open First Aid Courses are held at our training venue in High Wycombe, Bucks.
Alternatively, we can also come in-house to your office or place of work at a date and time that suits your requirements to run a workplace first aid course. All we ask is that you provide us with the largest room possible so there is plenty of space to carry out practical training tasks.
