One of these defibrillators have been installed outside Hazlemere Community Centre. We hope that no one has to use this life saving device, but it is an invaluable community asset.
Public access defibrillators can be used by anyone in an emergency without any training at all, although attending a training session increases a person’s confidence. These defibrillators provide easy to follow visual and verbal instructions guiding the user through the whole process.
This life saving device will decide if a shock is required and only gives a shock if needed. We include defibrillator training on all our workplace first aid courses.
