First Aid Training for School Pupils near High Wycombe
We recently delivered a First Aid Course for a group of 12 – 15 year old pupils at a local school in Marlow. These courses are designed to teach young people basic life saving first aid skills in a fun and informative approach in order to make the subject less daunting.
It was a great opportunity to work with these group of young people to deliver the basic first aid skills as they always give you a positive reaction and it was lovely to see how engaged they were in the training, by actively being involved in the practical training and asking lots of questions to develop a good understanding of the subject.
First Aid is ultimately a life skill which we hope no one has to put in to practice. However, it’s one of those skills that you never know when you may have to use, and it’s always important to know how to act quickly and effectively in a real life first aid situation.
Following on from the young person’s first aid course, we received some great feedback from the curriculum director:
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your First Aid training with our Key Stage 3 and 4 students last week.
The content of the course was perfect, covering all aspects of the national curriculum and much much more. The pace, practical elements and checking of their learning was of a very high standard engaging the students for long sessions without any issues! The students absolutely loved the course and have not stopped talking about it, and we look forward to working with you soon!”
