This is another great example of why everyone needs to have the knowledge and skills to
act with confidence when faced with a real life situation. Time is of the essence in situations such as this.
The quicker you respond, the more likely you are to increase the casualty’s chance of
survival. We hope no one has to put their first aid into practice but you never know when
and where these skills will be required, so it’s important to know what to do!
