This article highlights the importance of learning vital life saving skills. Having been on a first aid course Mr Orr-Ewing knew exactly what to do, and the casualty was breathing before the ambulance services arrived. This was an amazing outcome.
Since this incident Mr Orr-Ewing is urging others to take up first aid training so that more lives can be saved.
We hope no one has to put their first aid into practice but you never know when and where these skills will be required, so it’s important to know what to do!
